A letter to my #fitness friends!




To my #fitness friends, I'm sorry I've been MIA. 

For a while there, I was in my groove. #running to the beat of my #iTunes playlist during the #5amclub that only so many of us know about. But then my bed became a little too cozy and convinced me that I could get my workout in after my workday in the evenings. 

What a sweet little lie that was. 

Now I find myself disappointed in the hard-work I put in during my #matleave and at a crossroads in life. 

Am I content with my current #fitness level? Or do I want to strive for more? 

If you told me (after labour & delivery) that I'd enjoy running again, I would've thought you were nuts. But today, I find myself #thankful for our time up on the island. 

You see there's nothing but the great outdoors up here. Water as blue as blue can be and miles of country roads where dreams are made reality! And thus the start of #halfmarathontraining (again). 

My husband, @mgibbons59, is running in the #hamilton #marathon #road2hope in November. I haven't decided if I'm going to run it yet, but I have decided to train with him and it makes me so #excited! 

And now I need new running shoes, because its obvious that I've worn my current pair out. Also very exciting!

So with this post, may you keep me #accountable. Here's to goal setting, goal crushing & clean eating!
